I wouldn't be surprised if 2014 was actually the peak year. More consistant lineup along with price cut could get the job done this year but I think it's safe to say if NSMBU+Nintendo Land+Pikmin 3+Wind Waker HD+Wii Party U+3D World+Tropical Freeze+Mario Kart+Hyrule Warriors+Bayonetta 2+Smash Bros+Captain Toad haven't convinced people to get a Wii U, this year's titles wont do much since many of them belong to similar genres and franchises as previously released titles.

That may be true. Its sales last holiday season were down 11% compared to the year prior even with a superior lineup. It'd be a miracle for Wii U to even reach 18 million. But sales are up this year compared to last so its on the path to continuing the trend.

Ya but it's only 4 weeks into the year, Mario Kart gave a large boost in late Spring thru early Summer, I'm not sure if any of these new games can give that sort of large boost. Also Smash Bros+Amiibo couldn't cause sales to be up YoY for the holidays so I'm not sure if Zelda can make this holiday bigger. Wii U needs a hefty price cut in order to see a big increase in sales, I don't think a small $50 cut will do too much especially if the others recieve price cuts this year as well.

Like I said, it's possible this year is higher but with Nintendo having already released most of their big guns, I don't personally see this year being up.
