Here is the 360 shipment data between Q1-3 of each calendar year compared to Q4. 2006 Q1+2+3: 4.5m | 2006 Q4: 4.4m (-2%) 2007 Q1+2+3: 3.0m | 2007 Q4: 4.3m (+43%) 2008 Q1+2+3: 4.8m | 2008 Q4: 6.0m (+25%) 2009 Q1+2+3: 5.0m | 2009 Q4: 5.2m (+4%) 2010 Q1+2+3: 5.8m | 2010 Q4: 6.3m (+9%) 2011 Q1+2+3: 6.7m | 2011 Q4: 8.2m (+22%) 2012 Q1+2+3: 4.2m | 2012 Q4: 5.9m (+41%) 2013 Q1+2+3: 3.5m | 2013 Q4: 3.5m (+0%) 2014 Q1: 800k 360 facing drops of ~40% for Q4 2013 and Q1 2014 would probably indicate a drop for Q2 and 3 of 2014. 2014 Q1+2+3: 2.1m | 2014 Q4: ??? Looking at the data, the 360 has experienced an increase of shipments in Q4 compared to Q1+2+3 combined. It was only ever down once (slightly) and even once. So if the 360 was experiencing ~40% drops for Q1+2+3 of 2014, then Q4 might be similar. *2014 Q1+2+3: 2.1m | 2014 Q4: 2.1m (+0%) Look at that. A 40% drop still follows MS's pattern of shipments. A 50% drop is unlikely YOY, but would still equal 1.75m. *2014 Q1+2+3: 2.1m | 2014 Q4: 1.75m (-17%) Now that is unprecedented looking at the data above. 360 is still ahead shipment wise at ~87m shipped.

That is some good analyse there.
@OP you are making a good point, but I am guessing this thing is just to close to call now. Hopefully we get some PR about reaching 90 millions shipped by the end of this year or the next one.
