Your wild guess, nowhere near to be proven though. And about the outselling stuff, lol, we don't even have 360 shippments numbers, now we are going to state sales? Saying it outsold the PS3 over 2:1 during the holidays worldwide... care to provide some proof please? |
They are in a kinda impossible situation. One where they don't know how they want to handle it. On one hand, they can accept that the XBO has shipped more and therefore not as far behind the PS4 as many think. But, this also means that it takes sales away from the 360, since MS only reports both combined, now. Should they pick the other hand, where 360 has sold about a mil above PS3, but it takes away sales from the XBO? Either way, they can't argue for both.

I shall not lay down my firearm until the other side has lowered theirs.
Seriously, I will consider it basically a tie in the end, anyway. MS did a good job at taking advantage of Sony's/PS3's faults and making big gains with the Xbox brand. And on the flip side, Sony did a good job at turning the ship around and demonstrating how large the PS brand truly is, which helped them springboard into this gen.
