Of course I realize not everyone owns every single movie, but to go and compare rental service with owning a copy yourself? How is that ever comparable?
The fact they don't have the ability for the owner to keep the movie, is to me, an incomplete service. Yes, there will be people renting movies, but there will also be people who want to own them.
Frankly, two services are needed, that is why Apple is winning in Digital distribution war right now.
