1. No voice chat in random online matches
Whenever I play Halo, Gears, Cod or whatever on Xbox live no one talks anyway, or they are annoying kids. It would be good to talk with friends though, this hasn't been diconfirmed if I'm correct.
2. No bots available in 4 vs 4 matches
I believe the match won't start without 8 players which makes sense in a game like this. Nintendo often replaces players who drop out with bots, which I think will be the case here.
3. No online modes other than the one 4 vs 4 match in random online matches
A bit disapointing if true, yes.
However, I'd wait for more information before calling the game bare-boned or tiny. Single player might be lengthy, and multiplayer might still be more extensive than we think. Maybe there are different types of 4 vs 4, or maybe it is so captivating it will keep you busy for a long time. I'm still looking forward to this game!
