I don't consider any of Nintendo's games AAA, including Zelda. Keeping their spending in check is the only way they can be profitable with such a small user base.

They are very secretive about their budgets so it's difficult to be sure.

AAA is quality/production value NOT budget.

Seriously what do you think grades mean? F/6 is worst A/1 is usually the best and everything else is just marketing nonsense.

And NO B-Movie does not mean  low budget movie. Low budget is a side effect of hiring not so famous  actors and not so good writers etc when you want to make a not so important movie. Its like letting your substitutes play your football match for you because you know  the prime team is not needed.
(btw in Germany goods incl. food are also divided into specific categories  1A derived from latin/spanish  PRIMERA means first choice. NOT it costs X money to grow that cucumber.)

In theory a B movie can be as expensive as a A-tier movie its just that the actors usually accept less money for doing the same thing.

So to me Nintendo is "AAA" and most of the others are not even close.  Well scratch that Nintendo is S-class the rest can keep their A's  xD
