I usually ignore them for the same reason I ignore third party games. Way to many of which way to many are way to crappy.
I also get 10 games on steam for 1-2 dollars thanks to bundles. (800 steam games so far mostly indies I never touched)
I sometimes play indie games on steam like Guacamelee or Dugeon Defenders etc. but most of the time I just give them a try (10 minute session) and ignore them,
