Neither is true and the former was never mentioned as a factor when PS/Xbox were getting low sales.

DS2 sold poor on Wii U, theres no denying that. PS4 was never selling bad, X1 only dropped to wii U sales momentarily and is selling great now but most importantly, software has never had a problem selling on eitehr of those 2 system, even when X1 was at its worst.
