amazon is not indicative of exact sales. 

several other retailers exist out there, which is where vgcharts gathers estimates from. 


after reading the pre order chart for a few years i think it's meant ot be taken with a grain of salt. I doubt they get numbers from any retailer. Just an educated guess by ioi.
