But that's what your post said.

I only mentioned Amazon, but the Xbox One was the best selling console in general for the month of December, just like how you mention the PS4 is selling the best currently.

i also mentioned that the ps4 is beating the xbox one on all major retailers despite the fact that the xbox is $50 cheaper. i didn't think i needed to mention this, but the ps4 won every npd for ten months straight. the ps2 was also insanely popular in the united states. literally the only reason xbox brand is even as popular as it is now is because sony launched the ps3 a year later than the 360 with a $600 price, no games, worse multiplats, and major arrogance at the time. xbox one won two months because it sold at the value of a ps3. ($200)

We're talking about currently though. The PS4 has good momentum but anything can change. Microsoft went aggressive and managed to win 2 months, and now they're trying to keep it up with keeping the price drop permanent.

It just seems like you're basing the future off of something happening currently.

"PS4 is selling the best on all stores, obviously it will win for the next 6 years or however long it's on the market for in America based on these sales just for this month".

And MS are still being aggressive.  I don't know what else you call an entry price $150 lower after about a year after launch, a price cut that also includes 2 free games, and was also preceded by several large 180s on policies.  The point is, if Amazon remains accurate, that means even with that kind of price advantage, the PS4 is seen to have more value by most consumers.  This also means that MS would probably have to drop the price to $299-$329 or bundle in 4-5 AAA games just to stay ahead.
