i think you need to clarify your point,.. like a lot.   the bold statement fundamentally isn't true.  it's why the word "port" exists because the games on ps4 or xbox can't be played on PC directly.   ..they have to be ported first.

even with the window's 10 thing only universal apps are availible across platforms.  for gamers on consoles that means having games lose access to a significant portion of the hardware's processing power to make room for the middle teir software.   the con of being hardware agnostic is needing hardware that is much higher spec'd for the same performance.   basically your pushing "costs" from the developer to the consumer.

 

so am i okay with paying a higher price for a console so that PC guys can have better access to pirate the exclusives i enjoy?   no,..
