So, both Tales and Kirby didnt impress.
Namcoannounced they sold 400k, but maybe that was with digital? I dont know if Xillia 2 got a digital launch aswell, but this opening week is certainly not impressive. Its in-line with most of the PS2 releases but its certainly a decline from the Xillia games.
This leads me back to the conclusion that the classic 2D combat system is more popular. All the great selling titles in the series had that combat system.
As for kirby, its a budget game, just like toad. It seems that that kind of game doesnt find a big popularity with the japanese though.
