| FloatingWaffles said: We're talking about currently though. The PS4 has good momentum but anything can change. Microsoft went aggressive and managed to win 2 months, and now they're trying to keep it up with keeping the price drop permanent. It just seems like you're basing the future off of something happening currently. "PS4 is selling the best on all stores, obviously it will win for the next 6 years or however long it's on the market for in America based on these sales just for this month". |
But what has MS got to change the momentum? Sony have The Order this month and Bloodborne next month. They've already won this month (and I'm confident with that). If the price drop hasn't effected Sony's momentum then how is the price cut plus two new IPs from Sony going to change things? Momentum from Bloodborne + The Order is also likely to push through to April too. And I'm not certain what Sony has for April either.
edit: They have MLB the Show, Mortal Combat X and Dark Souls 2 releases too, which will push more PS4s than XB1 simply because it's loved by more Sony fans and Bllodborne will put people in the mood for it.
The PS5 Exists.
