For the first part of the year Sony has a huge advantage in the games department, and with the addition of PlayStation Music Powered By Spotify, they look to have the best multimedia in every field as well. I think the winner is going to come down to who can make their console more convienent. The more apps, the more reasons to buy, and the more demographics it opens up to. We are at the point were the console is the center of the television experience. The only thing left to do is take over non entertainment consumer time. This means shopping, art, programming, word processing, spread sheets, photo editing, general web use, e-mail, etc. |
