Try finding/bookmarking a website that offers HD anime for html 5 devices on the internet browser! I recommend Kissanime.net. I've used it to watch Hunter x Hunter 2011 and some Studio Ghibli films in 720p or higher! You need to select html 5 for mobile to watch the episodes or movies and then scroll down to where it says to "click here if video isn't showing" but it'll open a video in a few secs! You can also change the internet browser settings to iPad to acesss the mobile version of the site immediately as well.
And you can always just download the cruncyroll app if you have an account.
