I'm definitely biased for going digital, but even so, there's no way they can make a unified platform work when their handheld and console are using to completely different physical game storage, console with CD and handheld with cartridges. If it's a unified platform, that shared library can only be done digitally.

Unless people think they're going to have a cart and CD slot on the home console, which doesn't make sense for obvious reasons. A lot of people fuss over going all digital, but as soon as a console, and especially a handheld, comes out that requires it, they'll jump on board, reluctanty or not.

That's actually a very good point. I don't really have any facts to subtantiate my claim other than I see Sony and Microsoft going there before Nintendo, and they'll probably do it next gen. So Nintendo will probably be the gen after. I think they might do digital for handheld only and make physical copies for the console, or something along those lines. 

I don't want them to go digital only, but I see why it'll most likely happen eventually.
