What makes you think that the franchise won't continue to grow larger? After all, MLB 2K is no longer around. (1)

I'm not sure what point you are trying to make when you say The Order is going to "bomb" critically. Also, low 70s isn't an absolute disaster. That is actually average. So, I guess the correct statement is "The Order is going to do average critically". (2) Your hyperbole, however, is not the only issue. You are basing your conclusion on previews on a demo that was 1. running on an incredibly old build and 2. used over and over again. Ready At Dawn likely kept the vast majority of the game under wraps and I appreciate that. Too often, developers spoil too much which significantly diminishes my anticipation. The Order has gone gold, but we have seen very little footage of the game to this point. Who knows? It might be a pleasant surprise to many critics.

first of all, if the show 14 had been a million seller on any single platform, trust me, we would have heard about it. the article you link to is classic pr... it did better than the last one which did at best mediocre sales for what it is. the problem with mlb the show is it's a playstation game and not on any other platform. as for your last bit about 2k not being around... okay? and why do you think that is? maybe, just maybe, because there isn't the same demand for baseball games as there is for (american) football, football/soccer and basketball games. take two realized this and shelved the franchise.

your second point about the order... i believe we've had this conversation before. it is almost certainly going to be average at best, if not an outright disaster. sony hasn't had a single first party game (non-download-only, non-remake) this generation that has scored above an 80. infamous? 80, down 5 from a series high of 85. littlebigplanet 3? 79, down a whopping 16 from a series high. how about their new ip? driveclub, 71, 14 points lower than its competition last year (forza horizon 2, 86) and not even functional for months. how about that inventive 3d action game, knack? oh, 54. ouch.

anyway, the order 1886 looks set to join the "ouch" club, landing somewhere between driveclub and knack. it's an interactive movie which has consistently previewed like shit (as a previous poster remarked). anyway, it's coming in a few weeks, we'll know for sure then, won't we?

What an utterly worthless comment. We get it you don't like Playstation.
