In vgc bar graph, shouldn't nintendo have the red bar and ps have the blue bar?

Would make more sense.

Xbox got its green.

Nintendo's logo is red, plus they're more synonymous with red, with mario n all.

Playstation has switched from 2011 to the Black Sony (make.believe/James Bondish) branding to a shinier blue
