Personally, I liked the digital event. But I agree with what Slarvax said about having a more traditional approach if they are revealing a new console/handheld.
I'm not really interested in seeing new hardware this time around, unless it is something to do with their QoL thing - (just curious) but I don't know whether that's too far removed from gaming to fit with E3 anyway.
I'd just like to see more games, games, games revealed this year, and more interactive events spread around the world.
