Maybe just maybe during the holidays because the Xbox One price cut was temporary, a lot of third party bought the system and are reselling them at a lower price and VGC are tracking those "resell". That would explain the Xbox One being above PS4...

Really....? So if a reseller buys from a reseller then resells their purchase that was once originally purchased from MS it would count as 3 sales.... what if I then bought it then sold it once agian 4 sales!!!!!!!!! you sir have cracked the nut on unbelievable PR gold........

I guess you missed the part where I said "Maybe just maybe".

I am pretty sure you have read a lot of other comments saying that they really don't understand why and how the Xbox One was on top for the week, after people are checking and posting day in, day out, hours after hours, how the PS4 was above the Xbox One in major retailers for that week.

During that week when the price of the Xbox One was back on top, a  lot of 3rd party from Amazon were selling the Xbox One bundle between $350 and $370 while the One that Amazon was selling was still at $400. So "maybe just maybe" those 3rd party sellers got a good deal during the holidays and decide to make some money out of it by reselling the console.

Sorry but this is no "unbelievable PR gold". I was just trying to make sense of the numbers. I don't know if  ioi is also tracking 3rd party sellers around the US. You reply would have been much more helpfull if it had more info that would help me change my "maybe just maybe", to "oh I guess I was wrong".
