Spell check not working (VGChartz only)

I think I must have turned spellcheck off as I never see it anywhere (not just VGC)
However I did notice last week I couldn't use ctrl+B in the RTE to make text bold, instead it opened my bookmarks as if my screen focus was on the page instead of the editor. (That seems ok now though)
