Well Nintendo kinda has an excuse, mobile phones are way out of their know-how zone. Sony has had their own mobile phone division for ages though, they should've released a Playstation Phone 6-7 years ago when the iPhone was first coming out. Too late now. 

A playstation phone would not work.  They'd literally have had to invent the iPhone instead of apple.
