this is Nintendo.
there was never a chance they were going to do that. they are extremely intelligent in terms of doing things that benefit their value and worth. Sega was desperate. when you have the IP power that Nintendo does, and are still making SOME money, then there is no need to panic. in the end thanks to the 3DS Nintendo is still quite comfortable even this generation
