Yeah I never really considered the transitions as, "loading screens" and forgot all about them. Even still they were like 3-5 seconds long and had a moving frame, versus say a loading screen in Skyrim's cities or dungeons which were about 10-30 seconds long and had one or two still frames. As for Xenoblade X, I expect there to be level walls which will prevent players from traversing certain zones (they'll be killed.) Still I think there will be actual inaccessible areas. |
I kind of hope there isn't. I've always loved it when a game essentially says "You can go anywhere! Some places have mobs that will scratch your nuts off and eat you with a side salad, but you can totally still go there if you're into that."
