That seems like an extremely long stretch if I ever saw one. Personally, I think the game looks awesome but I don't think it will be a big hit, as for moving systems; I imagine something along the lines of Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101 in impact. Even Bayo 2 did next to nothing for hardware sales, releasing on the verge of the holidays and with amazing reviews and internet hype behind it. Nothing released on the Wii U will ever come close to MK when it comes to hardware boosts, and certainly not Splatoon. For the record; I don't think it would make a big splash (pun intended) on other platforms either. |
Maybe not on the same scale as MK 8 but I think it will boost the console. Like Watch Dogs had for PS4
