Xbone is at around 9-10m sold. It's at 11m shipped, and I'm willing to bet there are more than 1m units rotting away on store shelves and in warehouses.

No, where are you pulling those numbers from, it is about 10.8-11.2 sold and almost 12 million shipped.

Everyone is pulling numbers from out of nowhere because we don't really know.  No one knows but  Its all estimation.  AMD knows how many they produced so they know the absolute maximum that could be shipped.  But outside of that, only Microsoft really knows and they have NOT revealed those specifics.  They keep it convoluted enough for multiple possibilities to be valid.   I hear Sony used to do the same thing.  Thank goodness for the PS4 transparency.  And Nintendo should be commended for always giving proper figures no matter what.
