If the MS/Sony announcements put the Q4 PS4 sales at 6.6M and the X1/X360 shipments at 6.6M and the X1 outsold the PS4 in the US for 66% of Q4, and VGC has the PS4 outselling the X1 by 1.6-1.7M in the same time frame, how does this all make sense? Did the X1/X360 have 100% sell through of 5M X1s and 1.6M X360s? If we assume that only 500K consoles total went unsold, that would mean that the X360 only sold 1.1M across a 3 month period.
If someone can see a hole in my logic, please let me know.
