Just keep quote trees below 3, then it still brings attention to who you are replying to and gives them the little blue symbol thing. If it is one of the older posts in the tree (more than 3) then just quote that one instead.

Yeah I know , it's just that I would like to see something simple like a reply to button , included under say your avatar in the thread , so then rather than having to quote them get to get the blue symbol ,you simply type out a normal reply then hit the reply to button belonging to whom ever you want to communicate with.
