Here's the way I see it: For me, this game fits into the same category as Wii Sports, Sonic & Mario, and ect. This game, like the others I mentioned, is a low budget game meant only to cash in on the Wii. Therefore, it's a cheap cash-in like the other games. If this were a third-party game doing the exact same thing, you guys would be calling it low quality party game BS. |
First, you've never played the game, so your opinion means about as much as dryer lint on the subject.
Second, developing a piece of technological hardware is in no way cheap or inexpensive. So its hardly a cheap route for them to take, cheap would have been doing it all with the Wii-Mote.
Third, if the game is what the masses want its not exactly a cash-in since a cash-in is using your brand to convince people to buy something they don't want. Given the reaction by the general public they are extremely interested in the concept...so again you're just wrong.
And finally, Wii Sports, Mario & Sonic, and Wii Fit are all games that have been praised pretty much everywhere outside of the reviews...which isn't surprising since most reviewers share your views on how awful casual games are. I know it never crossed your mind, but maybe gaming is for everyone and as such not everything is going to appeal to you.
You don't see casuals acting like an ass in GTA IV threads so do everyone a favor and keep your unwanted comments to yourself.
