I usually try to play mind games by tricking you to dodge to a certain direction while I attack at that same direction.

And Marth, you think I just dodge randomly?
And his dancing blades has 3 variations that can lead up to different combos.

Your dodges with Marth always seem one step ahead of mine. We dodge around a few times and when I finally stop to attack, you dodge once more and get me in the back. It's such a pain.

And I usually use fast characters, so I'm more of a "hit them first" kind've guy.

You should try Wolf.
I bet he will fit your fighting style.
Or Falco.
And captain Falcon and Link arent really fast.

 

CF runs fast as hell, but yeah, he's somewhat slow because he has to stop before attacking.

And I only play with him in an attempt to get good for the SSL.

As for Link, he's the slowest character that I actually like playing with. Pit, Fox, and Diddy Kong are my favorites.

I tried Wolf a few times, but he seemed to slow for me.  He was kind've frutrating, tbh.  And Falco was much better on Melee, imo.
