I haven't followed much with this game, but it seems like it relies heavily on the game pad to just get from point a to point b. I probably won't pick it up regardless if price since I didn't care for Canvas Curse on DS.
It doesn't look as polished as Cpt. Toad, and I can't speak for length, but $40 does seem fair to me. Judging by the direct it has replayabilty in those collectibles though.
