The retail release of this will sell like dust :/

i do wonder what you base this on... every kirby title, console or handheld, with the exception of three sports spin-offs (kirby dream course) have done over 1m. kirby air ride gamecube, which got awful reviews, easily passed 1m at a full $49.99.

this will sell like hotcakes (for what it is), and the perfect test case for it is captain toad, which is well on its way to 1m after its terrific european release. the price will only speed up the process.

also, as RolStoppable said above, it matters not at all whether 3 or 300 people worked on something. if you've seen gameplay of this you can tell that it oozes the signature nintendo attention to detail, down to a beautiful hiccuping stop-motion clay aesthetic that is precisely the kind of thing hd consoles should be used for.

You're just spewing out of your ass now. You admit in your last line that you don't know the specifics of the game and you don't know how many people are working on it and you don't know how long it's taken them to make. How can you say all of the things that you've said here and earlier just off of pure speculation?

oh, and this ^.

finally: wanna bet this passes 1m lifetime?
