In the end it doesn't matter how many people worked on a game, all that matters is how good a game is.

Child of Light is an incomplete (the final dungeon got cut) 10 hour game that rides on its Grandia-inspired battle system and doesn't offer much else. Captain Toad clocks in at around 14 hours, doesn't feel repetitive and is very polished. Nintendo's game may cost 25 Euro more than Ubisoft's, but it's the better buy because it's the more varied and complete product.

With this new Kirby game we already have a good idea of what to expect because there was a similar DS game. Plenty of collectibles and several playable characters should bring the title to a 100% completion time of around 15 hours, making the whole thing very comparable to Captain Toad. If you don't like it, don't buy it. But I for one don't think that people are getting ripped off here.

You may notice I'm not the one trying to dictate how anyone else should feel about the price of the game, its actually the complete opposite. If you're gauging  it subjectively I've already stated that I'm not denying that the game is worth $40... Happy for the peeps who can't wait to get their hands on it.
