And I would go for new 3ds xl if I didn't already have a 3ds xl.
The c-stick is nice for rotating the camera in some games, and you never know what future games might be announced for it.

yea i went to gamestop today and traded in some games and with the trade in of the 3ds my preorder is paid for, with that all said what games should i get for the 3ds that i may have missed out on lately, i have been playing a few pokemon games on my dsi but im thinking of getting Zellda OoT and MM, is monster hunters any good? and do i need to playt he first few or should i be ok jumping into MH4

Monster Hunter is one of the best franchises out there. It takes a little getting into but once you start hunting bigger and bigger monsters and crafting more awesome gear you are hooked beyond belief. I sunk about 400 hours into MH3U alone.
Some other good titles in my humble opinion are as follows:
- Zelda: A link between worlds
- Etrian Odyssey 4 - if you like oldschool first person dungeon crawlers
- Super Smash Brothers 4

is super smash brothers on the 3ds actualloy good? meaning does it play good and am i able to play people on the WiiU reason i ask is im 32 turning 33 at the end of the month and the friends and family that game have the WiiU so thats my primary Super Smash Bros system.
