Has the sequel of a game you liked ever gone exclusive to a console you didn't own?

Does Banjo Kazooie or Sonic 06 (having loved the Gamecube remakes) count given that the end product of both was so profoundly bad that we had to invent new curse words? I mean in Sonic's case we actually got a better (if flawed, but conceptually very interesting) game.
