Sure, nostalgia is part of the reason why I prefer Melee over Wii U, but I really liked the adventure and break-the-targets modes and was really disappointed with smash-tour and the new target blast mode. Well, of course it won't be the whole reason. Everybody likes different things which is perfectly fine. I know nostalgia can be a tipping point too though. I'm definitely nostalgia blind at times. Trying to break free of it is difficult. My young memories, I can't just let them go

Me neither. To wallow in nostalgia is simply too much fun at times :)
