No, there are still attacks on the game.  People do consider it a step up from Brawl in the competitive side yes, but there are some who are indifferent to it, or the YouTube comments section only shows off the worst of a community.  Personally, I still find it fun.

YouTube comments are always terrible. No matter the subject.

OT: My heart still goes to Brawl right now, but Wii U could take its place as I play it more with VGC members. For Glory is fun to have but the flat stages got old quick.
