Well then.

Software wise, Kenka Bombcho as I expected.  I'm very disappointed.  Although I've only played one game in this series, I really liked it, and I'd be sad if this was the last one.  It actually looked like a very good entry.

The Diabolik Lovers game is another PSP -> Vita otome port which seem to be making up its library these days.  Wonder if these sales are enough for Idea Factory to keep pumping them out.

GTA V keeps performing beyond my expectations, this time on PS4.  Good for it.

And Final Fantasy Explorers up this week... stock problems last week?

Hardware wise it's a bleaker picture.  XB1 is absolutely dead and will likely be discontinued from retailers soon I would imagine,. unless something is done.  3DS is commendable for the state the market is in these days, but the New 3DS doesn't seem to have really done what it was supposed too.  PS4 is falling slower than I expected but both it and Vita and in pretty poor shape.

And WiiU, well...

I think New 3DS did what it was supposed to, stop sales from plummeting. Last year, 3DS was down roughly 50% YoY thru the first 3 quarters. 3DS has been close to flat YoY for 4 months now, without the redesign we would still be looking at massive YoY declines. U could argue that it was Monster Hunter+Pokémon+Youkai Watch that prevented it but I would have to assume the fanbase for those games are already firmly on 3DS due to all those series already having huge selling installments on it.

I don't think it was expected that New 3DS was going to cause massive YoY gains so I'm pretty sure it has done it's job thus far.
