I somewhat agree with this, barring Metroid. I'm pretty sure that Nintendo is prepared to drop F-Zero, at least for this generation. As far as Pikmin goes... well that's a different story. See back around the time the Wii U launched, there were rumors floating around that Shigiru Miyamoto was going to retire. Now obviously he hasn't done this yet and the rumors have pretty much died out, but we did see a new Pikmin game this generation. If you didn't know, Pikmin is Miyamoto's baby. He has been quoted in interviews saying that he day dreams about Pikmin and Pikmin are always on his mind. Nintendo can't drop Pikmin without dropping Miyamoto as well and that would hurt them pretty bad. Luckily, he seems to be obssessed with Starfox right now, now heres hoping that I don't have to move my gamepad to aim and that I can use the Pro Controller.
