The article is clearly a fanboy one who hold Nintendo above all and have some points that are quite wrong or purely subjective (as nothing would necessarily make the ninty game worst from just being in a stronger machine, and ninty could sell controllers with the layout they please... But even so I preffer they keep making their console).
Anyway the main point is not debate. No one would really benefit (gamers mainly) of ninty deaths. And the sole benefit of they becoming 3rd party would be to save 200-300 on the console, but if you are so poor that you think this much is a problem (mind you I think 60 per game is high, even more when they drop so fast in price) should be working not playing and wishing a company goes under and thousands lose job.
I may not praise or value ninty over sony, but I certainly agree ninty is necessary, makes great games and brings variety to my collection.
