As Tachi already mentioned: - Atari already had achivements with Activision - X68000 was the first to have internal storage. Hard drives weren't a feasable option back in the day. - Sega Dreamcast introduced the idea first. XBL popularized the idea. - Halo was developed by Bungie. The credit, therefore, goes to Bungie. Also, games like Quake existed long before Halo. |
Once again, you are saying the computer printer wasn't innovative cause of the Gutenberg printing press. And it's not even that. Achievements are totally different than the Atari stuff. And the X68000 isn't even a console nor did it use a hard drive. Wikipedia even emphasizes that it has no hard drive!
It seems more about hating on Microsoft than anything else.... Sony is known as "innovative" even though they have innovated pretty much nothing. Although the PS2 was the greatest console of all time, it was extremely anti-innovative.
