I would have. Nintendo also innovated a lot.

My original point was clear: Microsoft gets a lot of unnecessary hate. Could you imagine if Microsoft didn't create the Xbox? Sony would be so lost without Nintendo or MS. No Xbox Live to copy from, no achievements to copy (trophies didn't come out til like 2 years after the PS3 was released), no hard drive standard to copy from, no trying to copy Halo's success, etc. etc.
