There's a reason open world games don't have split screen. Same with TV vs Gamepad. The performance takes a huge hit that would be infinitely worse in a massive open world. If Hyrule Warriors can barely handle it, Xenoblade definitely can't. Not to mention the fact that the gamepad has functional requirement.
