You clearly have no idea how 3rd party and nintendo work. Nintendo does not pay third party developers to make games for them or for extra features so their games skip nintendo consoles. This was started by microsoft and sony and has been screwing with the industry for a while. Why would they go to making games for nintendo when they can get cash to make it for the other which doesn't have the stigma of 3rd partys do not sell on nintendo. Traditonal console or more powerful hardware will not help nintendo in anyway. The only thing they need to work on is marketting.

That is why the Nintendo does not pay them, because they know that most of the install base is mostly loyal Nintendo fans, so most of the SW sold on the platform is Nintendo games and the third party games don't sell. Look how COD sold on Wii U compared to XB1(Similar install base), it didn't sell on Wii U because Nintendo's bad marketing, most Wii U owners are loyal Nintendo fans, and most of the SW sold on Wii U is Nintendo, so they don't pay them any more to bring COD to Wii U
