That's a lie. Only 360 owners last gen considered it to be the best because they didn't play God Of War. God Of War III blows it out of the water.

Like I said before, Bayo and GoW are so different...they are on opposite sides of the genre.

Also, I know plenty of people who are "Sony gamers" or multiconsole owners who love Bayo and don't like GoW.

My point was that Bayo was universally considered to be amazing whether or not you want to compare it to GoW...whether or not you are a Nintendo fan or MS fan or Sony fan.

Why are you so hellbent on insisting that GoW is the only good hack n slash ever?

Actually you're wrong. Both hack n slashes are essentially the same in their core fundamental existence. The difference is that one balances itself for presentation, while pacing itself to a narrated story to tell a story and the other is more arcadey with a story which is there, but really is less understood than the endearing nature of the main protagonist. Platinum is not known for their storytelling ability and even as unrelatable as Kratos is the pacing of God of War is some of the best in gaming and has not been challenged until Star Wars the Force Unleashed and Dantes Inferno which both took God of Wars presentation and Gameplay formula. Bayonetta and God of War are both great games, but one is less about story and more about gameplay and the other is a blending of both in harmony for a unified experience. Reviewers know by now to ignore Bayonettas story because Platinum is known for being over the top and ridiculous with their stories. This is exactly why Microsoft is doing that for them with Scalebound while they work on the gameplay.

If Bayonetta was under major storyline scrutiny it would never have recieved tens, but they know that Platium is over the top with their games.
