They'll keep 3D, maybe Gamepad
3D is now established with the DS brand and I'm pretty sure its the main selling point of the N3DS. People will be dissapointed if they remove that option
Gamepad should be adapted to be more like a traditional controller, minimise the screen, give it handles, have it like the dreamcast x PS4 controller. I honestly can't say whether Nintendo will keep though, I now kinda hope they do if its costs can be minimised. Problem with the Wii U was mostly weak hardware, terrible branding, weak software support and square controller probably screemed gimick (it looks like a toy). I don't think the actual screen put people off though, just it better form factor and if they compete directly with sony/ms next gen it will be an easy advantage.
