Should Nintendo's next console be a microconsole?

They should make a deal with SmartTV makers and release the games through a Nintendo app. Competing with Sony and Microsoft through retail consoles is a dead art. They sealed their fate when the Wii released as it did and sold amount it sold. It's similar to how Jaleel White is so well known as Steve Urkel that he can never do anything different after that. Nintendo will always have to be like Wii and that gimmick has come & gone.
