Well, not exactly. The Zelda timeline is a little complex. Each game has a new incarnation of Zelda, Link and Ganon and they're usually set in different time periods/environments. In almost every game, Link saves Zelda but there's more at stake, depending on the game, and of course different plots surrounding the characters. So, in this sense, Wind Waker's plot is nothing like Twilight Princess', and Skyward Sword's is nothing like Majora's Mask's (I'm pretty sure you don't even save Zelda in this game) but they all share similar frameworks.
