If MH on PSV would sell like hot cakes then MH on 3DS is selling like radioactive cakes. |
Not really a fair comparison since the series didn't really take off until its third PSP release or so. It was already astronomically huge when the first one came to 3DS. It's kind of like comparing CoD 2,3,4,5 with CoD 6,7,8,9.
Also, I really doubt making 3DS games is any cheaper than PSV ones. Just look at their respective game support. 3DS gets the huge games while PSV gets more games in total and most are small to decently sized. But since Nintendo practically funded a part of the 3DS games' development it would of course end up cheaper than not getting anything from Sony.
