Well do it then. Unity is free, so shouldn't be hard to get started. Making a game concept that's good and playable is pretty easy; actually finishing a game and releasing it to different platforms is harder. I guess it's easy when your standards are lower, like in The Letter's case ;)
There are tons of free games that are great and definitely better than Treefall's games. Just look at Cave Story (the original).
